CleanMyList vs. ZeroBounce

ZeroBounce sells you ten things. We do one thing really well.

ZeroBounce wants to be your everything-email tool. If that's what you want, great. If you just need your list cleaned, properly, with clear pricing and no upsells, that's us.

ZeroBounce sells a bundle of email tools — cleaning plus an email finder, an activity scorer, and a list monitor. This page compares our offerings on publicly verifiable criteria, last reviewed May 2026.

Why teams switch

What's different when you move from ZeroBounce.

One job, done well
ZeroBounce splits its attention across ten products. We spend every day making the cleaning better. You can feel the difference on a real list.
Plain reasons, not codes
Every result comes back in English. 'Mailbox doesn't exist.' 'Looks like a typo.' 'Server says yes to everything, low confidence.' Your team can read it without a manual.
Honest pricing
Our credits never expire. ZeroBounce credits do, on monthly plans. And when you run out, we don't auto-charge you for more.

From a team that switched

The receipts.

ZeroBounce did a lot, but we only used one feature. CleanMyList does that one feature better and costs half as much. The audit reports won over our compliance team in one meeting.

Switching is easy

Moving over from ZeroBounce takes an afternoon.

Most teams get it done in one work session. We'll run a free test against your real list before you commit to anything.

  1. 01

    Try it side-by-side

Send us 5,000 real addresses. We'll clean them on both engines and send you the results. You see for yourself before paying us a cent.

  2. 02

    Bring your history with you

Export your ZeroBounce results as CSV and we'll match the audit trail one-to-one. Nothing breaks. Your workflow keeps working.

  3. 03

    Cancel when you're confident

Run both for two to four weeks if it makes you feel better. Compare real bounce rates from real campaigns. Then cut over.

People also ask

The questions we hear during a switch.

ZeroBounce has an email finder. Do you?
No. We don't do email finding, just cleaning. Most teams pair us with a finder like Findymail or Clay — they find the emails, we tell you which ones to send to.
What about ZeroBounce's activity score?
They sell a separate score that estimates how engaged an address is. We don't. We focus on whether the email will reach the inbox. Engagement is a different problem and we think it should be sold separately.
Can I keep my ZeroBounce credits while I try you?
Yes. Both accounts can run side by side as long as you want. We don't ask you to cancel anything.
How fast are you compared to ZeroBounce?
We publish measured latency once the production probe pool has enough traffic. On big lists, we stream results to you as we go.
