A passkey lets you sign in with your face, fingerprint, or your device's PIN — no password to remember, and nothing for anyone to steal. It is one of the safest ways to sign in.
Add a passkey
- 1Sign in, then go to your security settings.
- 2Choose to add a passkey.
- 3Follow your device's prompt (such as Face ID, a fingerprint, or your PIN).
- 4Give it a name so you remember which device it is on, and save.
Sign in with it
Next time you sign in, choose the passkey option and confirm with your face, fingerprint, or PIN. That is it.
Remove a passkey
Lost a device or no longer use one? Remove its passkey from your security settings, and it can no longer be used to sign in.
