Every assistant you connect appears on your API keys page, so you can always see what has access and take it away again.
What an assistant may do
When you approve a connection, it asks for one or both of these permissions:
| Permission | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Read | Look at your jobs, their status, and their results. |
| Write | Run checks and start jobs — the actions that spend credits. |
You can see which permissions were granted next to the connection. An assistant connected with an API key instead of a sign-in always has both.
Disconnect an assistant
- 1Sign in and go to API keys.
- 2Find the connection in the list of connected assistants.
- 3Choose to revoke it and confirm.
It loses access to your workspace immediately. If you connected the assistant with an API key rather than by signing in, delete that key instead.
Connections that end by themselves
- If someone is removed from a workspace, any assistant they connected to it is disconnected automatically.
- If an owner or admin is changed to a member, their connections to that workspace are removed too, because only owners and admins may hold one.
- Deleting an API key immediately stops any assistant that was using it.
Tip
Connecting the same assistant again later is quick — approve it once more and it picks up where it left off. Revoking is always safe; it never affects your lists, credits, or results.
