Connect an email tool

Link your email marketing tool once, so you can import lists and send clean results back without files.

If you use Mailchimp, Brevo, SendFox, MailPoet, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, MailerLite, GetResponse, Moosend, beehiiv, or NuReply, you can connect it to CleanMyList. Once connected, you can pull contacts in and push clean results back — no downloading or uploading files.

Connect with one click (Mailchimp)

If the quick-connect option is available, go to Integrations, choose Mailchimp, and click to connect. We open Mailchimp so you can approve access, then bring you back. Nothing is imported until you choose an audience later.

Connect with a credential

Mailchimp, Brevo, GetResponse, Moosend, and beehiiv use API keys. NuReply uses a personal API key available on Growth, Pro, or Enterprise plans; follow https://support.nureply.com/support/solutions/articles/5000888623-nureply-api-integration-guide to create one. Klaviyo uses a scoped private API key. SendFox requires a paid SendFox plan and uses a personal access token, which you can create at https://sendfox.com/account/oauth. ActiveCampaign supplies a unique API URL and API token under Settings → Developer. MailerLite API tokens are under Integrations → MailerLite API; Moosend keys are under More → Settings → API key; beehiiv keys are under Settings → API after any required identity verification.

MailPoet runs inside WordPress, so it uses the CleanMyList for MailPoet companion plugin. Follow the MailPoet guide linked below to install it and create an access token.

  1. 1In your email tool, create or find the credential. In Mailchimp it is under Profile → Extras → API keys; in Klaviyo it is under Settings → API keys; in beehiiv it is under Settings → API; in NuReply, open your profile page and scroll to Generate API Key; in SendFox, create a personal access token; in ActiveCampaign, copy both values under Settings → Developer; in Moosend, copy the key under More → Settings → API key.
  2. 2Copy the credential.
  3. 3In CleanMyList, go to Integrations, choose your tool, and paste it.
  4. 4Click Connect. We verify it and show which account is connected.

Note

Your saved credential belongs to this workspace and is never shown back to you. A Mailchimp key ends in a short code like “-us21”.

Tip

Connected the wrong account, or your credential changed? You can update it or reconnect any time from the Integrations page.
