Connect NuReply to import a lead list directly into CleanMyList, check its addresses, and send the right results back without a CSV round trip.
Before you start
- NuReply API access requires a Growth, Pro, or Enterprise plan.
- You need access to the NuReply profile that owns the lead lists you want to clean.
Create your NuReply personal API key
- 1Sign in to NuReply and click your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- 2Open your profile page and scroll to Generate API Key.
- 3Click Generate API Key and copy the key NuReply shows you.
Heads up
Keep this key private. If you regenerate it in NuReply, the old key stops working and you must update the saved key in CleanMyList.
Connect NuReply to CleanMyList
- 1In CleanMyList, open Integrations → NuReply.
- 2Paste the personal API key and click Connect NuReply.
- 3Wait for CleanMyList to verify the key and show the connected NuReply account.
Note
Connecting only verifies and saves the key for this workspace. Nothing is imported or changed in NuReply until you choose a lead list and an action.
Clean your first NuReply lead list
- 1Go to Lists and click New list.
- 2Choose NuReply, then select the lead list you want to clean.
- 3Choose what to do, create the list, and run the check.
- 4When the check finishes, you can push the addresses you select to a NuReply lead list or suppress bad addresses.
How CleanMyList keeps the sync safe
- Imports skip leads that NuReply reports as deleted.
- Before adding a clean lead, CleanMyList checks NuReply's Do Not Contact list and never bypasses an existing block.
- Suppressing a bad address adds it to Do Not Contact across your NuReply account, not only the lead list you imported.
Heads up
NuReply suppression is account-wide. Confirm the addresses carefully before you sync bad results back.
Tip
NuReply limits API traffic to 60 requests per minute across all endpoints. CleanMyList spaces requests automatically and resumes a transfer if NuReply asks it to wait.
